My name is Cappuccino aka Chien aka TopKat. I am 20 years old in people years, and 107 cat years according to Dr. Jerry at the ARK. I am on steroids. Old age is no joke and when two of your legs give way at the same time you have to resort to drastic measures. When I get my steroid shot I go out dancing with the Evian Babies all night. I of course sleep most of the day.....
The solution.........and I didn't know there was even a problem........... showed up on Christmas day when I was lovingly lured to the kitchen with a promise of turkey. Hang on I'll be there.
Surprise! I was scooped up by the House Guest (that's what they call Ilse, who appears to be living with us now). Ilse is not as old as I am, and she used to be the equivalent of Cat Carer, for Children. She is very nice to me. But I still miss Coco very much. It's been a difficult 2 months since I lost Coco; and what's worse is I've never been without a furry companion until now. Life was easy; I never had to make ANY decisions, I could just be a copycat. First my brother, Cinnamon, then Coco. Sigh.....
Out the door past the Smiling Buddah (why?), along the garden path and through the garden gate and isn't it about time to take down the Christmas wreath?
Ilse carries me up the driveway about 1000 feet in people distance, right up to the little red bench in the woods. I think I should clarify here that's about 25,000 in catspaws in feline measurement terms.
I have to tell you something about Ilse. She likes dogs better than cats. So I think, cool dude that I am, I'll show her how well I can walk at "heel"..... check this out..... [fifth picture in block below]
Being a dog gets old awfully fast. There are a couple of things I want to check out.......
What's so funny? Don't you walk this way too?
That was an interesting smell..... I'm on my own now, so what's next? Maybe I'll check out the burn pile and the camp site next, maybe someone is cooking something?
After the camp site...... let's check out the barn shed, cruise past the rainwater tank and the old Riva boat cradle with SARNICO, ITALY stenciled on it, down the steps and back to the house. I better catch up with Ilse otherwise they'll be putting a camera around my neck like they did to Tucker down the road. And if I make enough noise, maybe they'll put down some fresh Fancy Feast......Pate only, please..... and no dancing for me tonight!
